After receiving her medical degree, she earned a PhD in Environmental Toxicology, completing her dissertation on pharmaceutical residues in our waters. She collaborated with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and published peer-reviewed research on the toxic effects of pharmaceuticals and chemicals, and how physicians can help minimize these effects through optimal dosing and prescribing.
Dr. Ruhoy has trained in both pediatric and adult neurology at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington. She further completed a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the tutelage of renowned physician Dr. Andrew Weil, MD.
