Enhanced Delivery for Maximum Absorption
Q-Needs® is superior from other CoQ10 options on the market today. Q-Needs® is a patent-pending, completely soluble, liquid, crystal-free solution of ubiquinol clinically proven to provide superior bioavailability. Superior bioavailability means better absorption of the nutrient from the gut into the blood, aimed to:
- Boost Cognitive Awareness
- Promote Antioxidant Health
- Support Cellular Energy Production
- Support heart and cardiovascular health
- Reduce frequency and duration of migraine pain
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a completely-natural nutrient that plays a critical role in the production of energy by the mitochondria within cells. While technically not a “vitamin” because humans can make CoQ10, the production of CoQ10 by the body is insufficient in health and in disease, and much of the CoQ10 in the body is supplied by the diet. Q-Needs® (CoQH-CF® from NeuroNeeds®) provides the ubiquinol form of CoQ10 in a highly bioavailable, natural, and easy-to-swallow softgel. Ubiquinol is the activated form of CoQ10, and about 80% of the CoQ10 in human blood is ubiquinol. Most CoQ10 products on the market is ubiquinone, which is much less bioavailable than ubiquinol. If a CoQ10 product is not labeled as ubiquinol or ubiquinone, it is highly likely to be ubiquinone, as it is far less expensive. Additionally, Q-Needs® is sourced from Kaneka®, which is one of the few sources of the highest-quality CoQ10 in the world.
Q-Needs® is a superior product from many other CoQ10 options on the market today. Q-Needs® is a patent-pending, completely soluble, liquid, crystal-free solution of ubiquinol clinically proven to provide superior bioavailability. Better bioavailability means better absorption of the nutrient from the gut into the blood. Only about 1% of most commercially-available CoQ10 is absorbed. Oxidation of ubiquinol to ubiquinone prior to absorption is also a key problem with lesser brands. Bioavailability and stability of Kaneka® ubiquinol in Q-Needs® are enhanced by the addition of low dosing of natural ingredients, including alpha-lipoic acid, d-Limonene, and capric and caprylic acids. Q-Needs® is vegan and free of all common allergens (including soy, peanuts, nuts, gluten, casein/milk, rice, corn, shellfish, fish, and egg), as well as artificial flavors and colors.
Additionally, Q-Needs® softgels are soft, small, and easy to swallow. In neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and epilepsy, CoQ10 must also pass the blood-brain barrier. Studies are very difficult to conduct on brain bioavailability due to invasiveness, however, many physicians recommend ubiquinol over ubiquinone in the treatment of brain disorders due in large part to assumed enhanced bioavailability (passage) into brain.
CoQ10 is often recommended in health and in disease. In health, studies show that as we get older, the body's ability to convert ubiquinone to ubiquinol diminishes, which may contribute to symptoms such as fatigue and reduced energy. In disease, CoQ10 is oftentimes recommended by physicians in the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, functional conditions (e.g. chronic pain, fatigue, nausea), and mitochondrial/metabolic disorders.
